As Rachel Forillere puts it, her job is to “feed New York.” Rachel, the Northeast Grocery Regional Buyer for Whole Foods Market, knows which products move and what appeals to savvy consumers. She also has seen what kinds of products and packaging don’t cut it in the marketplace. Before coming to New York, she worked for Whole Foods in Boston and in London, where she lived for 20 years. Rachel grew up in France and still counts the Wholesale market in Paris as her favorite place in the world. She holds an MBA from Thames Valley University in London.
